Keep the services that already work for your team. Combine Cloud37 hosting with public cloud tools where they add value, with identity, connectivity, support, and recovery planned together.

One possible combination

Run a business application on a Cloud37 virtual server, use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for email and collaboration, and use hosted VoIP for business calling. Add cloud backup storage with recovery locations and responsibilities agreed in advance.

Using multiple platforms does not automatically connect them or provide failover. Integration and recovery are designed around your requirements.

Cloud37 hosts its servers and private cloud at CoreSite VA1. You work with Cloud37 for your services; the service agreement defines your availability, support, and recovery commitments.

Make the decision with clear expectations.

Is private cloud always less expensive?

No. Compare the same workload, licenses, support, bandwidth, backup, and recovery design. Steady workloads and variable workloads can have very different economics. Cloud37 can scope a proposal around your requirements.

Is one cloud automatically more secure?

No. Security depends on architecture, configuration, access controls, patching, monitoring, and operational responsibilities. Public-cloud platform security does not remove your responsibility for the workloads and data you put there.

Does Cloud37 mean dedicated physical hardware?

Not for every hosted service. Virtual hosting and dedicated physical servers are different offerings. Your proposal specifies the resource allocation, isolation, and whether physical hardware is dedicated to your organization.

Are backups and disaster recovery included?

Only as specified in your agreement. A backup repository is not automatically a standby production environment. Recovery targets, restore testing, and geographic separation must be designed and agreed.
